DevOps Engineer

PROJECT INFORMATION: Industry: AutomotiveWork model: Remote (Warsaw) Project language: English Project length: 12 months contracts + prolongations Start: ASAP Assignment type: B2B BYOD The role of DevOps Engineer focuses on maintaining and improving cloud infrastructure and application deployments using Infrastructure as Code. The objective is to support the team and clients effectively through robust DevOps practices. Responsibilities: • Utilize Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform and CloudFormation for provisioning environments. • Develop automation scripts using various programming languages to streamline processes, like Python. • Implement Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) practices using GitHub Actions. • Manage and monitor AWS infrastructure and its resources. • Utilize containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes for application deployment and management. • Set up monitoring and logging solutions with ELK stack and Grafana. • Engage with clients on a quarterly basis to assess project progress and needs. Key Requirements: • 5 years of experience in a DevOps role. • Proficient in Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and/or CloudFormation. • Experience with Python, Bash, Powershell, and JavaScript. • Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases. • Knowledge of AWS and AWS CLI. Nice to Have: • Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes for container management. • Experience with monitoring tools such as ELK stack and Grafana.
