Our client is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join their operations team. You'll take ownership of production systems, drive infrastructure automation, and work closely with development and quality assurance teams to strengthen their deployment processes. Position Overview

As a DevOps Engineer, you'll be responsible for managing and monitoring production systems to ensure they run smoothly and perform reliably. You'll automate operational tasks, troubleshoot infrastructure issues, and collaborate with development teams to support continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines. Your work will be essential to maintaining system security, implementing disaster recovery procedures, and proactively identifying potential issues before they impact operations.

Wymagania:
Essential:
- 6+ years of experience in IT operations, system administration, or DevOps roles- Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix and Windows server environments- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP- Proficiency in scripting languages, including Bash, PowerShell, or Python- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet- Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Nagios- Solid understanding of networking, firewalls, and security best practices- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Desirable:

- Experience with containerisation and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes - Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps - Exposure to ITIL practices and service management tools such as ServiceNow - Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, RHCE, or Azure Administrator

Codzienne zadania:
- Manage and monitor production systems, ensuring high availability and consistent performance.
- Automate operational tasks using scripting and configuration management tools.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to support CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issues promptly.
- Maintain and improve system security, backups, and disaster recovery procedures.
- Monitor system metrics and logs to identify and address potential issues proactively.
- Participate in on-call rotations and respond to incidents effectively.
- Document operational procedures and contribute to knowledge sharing across teams.
