Dignio needs a Platform Engineer who can contribute to Dignio's approach to Infrastructure as Code, platform security, designing and implementing platforms and services. Responsibilities • Operate and maintain production workloads running as microservices on Amazon EKS.
• Manage and improve GitOps-based deployment workflows using Argo CD across multiple environments.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, supporting a codebase hosted on GitHub.
• Work with core AWS services, including CloudFront, EKS, S3, Lambda, SQS, CloudWatch, and IAM, across a multi-account AWS setup.
• Design and maintain IAM roles and policies following least-privilege principles.
• Provision and manage infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code tools.
• Support and extend observability tooling to improve monitoring, alerting, and incident response.
• Write and maintain automation scripts in Bash and/or Python for operational and infrastructure tasks.
• Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues.
• Contribute to infrastructure documentation and internal best practices.
We're looking for people who:
• Is comfortable with working in a cloud-based environment, preferably in AWS
• Appreciates the need for highly readable, reusable, and easily scalable code that is both easy to maintain and well documented
• Is curious and enjoys sharing knowledge
• Is willing to learn together with a growing organization
• Has knowledge and experience with cloud-based solutions and interest in information security
• Can work at least 3 days/week from Lublin Office
Qualifications
• Practical experience with containerization (Docker) and Kubernetes, ideally Amazon EKS.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, including services such as EKS, S3, Lambda, RDS, CloudWatch, IAM, and CloudFront.
• Experience working in a multi-account AWS environment.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, such as Terraform, OpenTofu, or AWS CloudFormation.
• Experience with Git-based workflows and CI/CD pipelines (e.g. GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI/CD).
• Familiarity with GitOps practices and tools such as Argo CD.
• Scripting proficiency in Bash and/or Python.
• Experience with observability tools or services, such as Prometheus, Loki, Grafana, or similar stacks.
• Comfortable working in a microservices architecture.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• At least B2 English profficient.
Nice to Have
• Experience with Helm or Kustomize for Kubernetes application packaging.
• Relevant certifications, such as CKAD, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator.
