About the Project Our client is a European payments organization undergoing a major digital transformation focused on modernizing its core transaction‑processing platform. The team is building a modern microservices‑based environment designed to increase scalability, reliability, and performance across high‑volume payment operations. As a DevOps Engineer, you will support this transformation by enhancing automation, strengthening platform stability, and enabling seamless collaboration across engineering teams. Work mode: remote, 1 per month from Warsaw office. Job Responsibilities • Automate and manage Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines across all environments (test, pre-production, production). • Drive automation and process improvements to accelerate development, testing, and deployment cycles. • Manage service requests related to technical dependencies and monitor resolution progress. • Support production deployments, provide hypercare, and assist teams with deployment challenges. • Monitor system health and performance, implementing improvements to reduce release failures and mean time to repair (MTTR). • Promote and embed DevOps principles and culture throughout the organization. • Collaborate closely with System Architects, Senior Developers, and Infrastructure teams to maintain and enhance DevOps infrastructure. • Support application and operations teams with pipeline automation, logging, monitoring, troubleshooting, and ensuring system stability and resilience Expectations Required Experience & Skills: • Passionate about DevOps with a strong focus on optimizing software delivery processes. • Hands-on experience with CI/CD workflows, continuous integration, and fast feedback loops. • Proven expertise in DevOps best practices and building a collaborative DevOps culture. • Fluent English • Proficient with: • Linux/Unix • OpenShift/Kubernetes • Docker • Jenkins or other CI/CD tools • Bash scripting • Additional Valuable Skills: • GitOps, Kustomize/Helm, Terraform • Java/Groovy, Spock, Maven • Monitoring tools: Prometheus, Grafana, Kibana/Splunk/OpenSearch • Messaging systems: Kafka, RabbitMQ, Hazelcast • Databases: MongoDB, Oracle • Knowledge of the Card Processing domain • Certificate management • Strong understanding of network and IT infrastructure • Incident management, root cause analysis, troubleshooting • Log and resource management • Documentation and use of Jira/Confluence • Excellent communication and coordination skills We offer • Ongoing support from a dedicated agent who is caring about your project continuity, contact with clients, necessary formalities, work comfort, and development. • Career Development Program – advice on career planning based on the latest trends and market needs in IT, including consultations with career agents and mentors. • Access to 7N Learning & Development – a development and educational platform offering webinars, a library of articles and industry reports, and frequent invitations to both one-time and recurring events focused on technical, business, and lifestyle topics. • Spectacular events, both for you (e.g., annual Kick-Off trip, Christmas parties, or Summer Olympics sports events) and for your loved ones (e.g. family picnics), • Professional growth Professional growth beyond your current project.
