As a DevSecOps Engineer for Nessus, you will be working for our client, a leading international bank committed to delivering secure, scalable, and cutting-edge digital financial services. Your main responsibilities: • Provide production support, including incident management and first/second line user support for cybersecurity tools and infrastructure. • Manage daily operations of the infrastructure supporting cybersecurity assessment services, including application servers, databases, virtual machines, Kubernetes workloads, and cloud resources. • Maintain and optimize logging and monitoring solutions to ensure seamless service operation. • Enforce security standards through patching, vulnerability remediation, and security posture management. • Design, develop, and implement automation workflows using scripts and tools like Ansible. • Prepare, test, and deploy infrastructure changes following established processes, providing post-go-live support and documentation. • Collaborate with stakeholders across Cybersecurity and IT teams to develop innovative solutions protecting enterprise assets. • Act as a Technical SME for cybersecurity hosting platforms, providing guidance on deployment and features. • Mentor and coach team members to foster a collaborative, knowledge-sharing environment. • Propose and evaluate emerging technologies to enhance vulnerability detection and infrastructure security. You're ideal for this role if you have: • 5+ years of recent experience in RHEL/Linux System Administration, with strong hands-on knowledge of:Configuring and managing servers/applications • Scripting in Bash and Python • Using Ansible for automation (playbooks, roles) • Managing storage (LVM) • Network setup and troubleshooting (IP, nftables, routing) • Incident and Change Management in an agile DevOps context • Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub, Jenkins, JIRA, Ansible) • Database management with SQL (PostgreSQL) • Good working knowledge of virtualization, cloud environments (especially GCP), containers (Docker/Kubernetes), and secrets management tools like Hashicorp Vault. • Familiarity with security vulnerability scanners (e.g., Nessus, Tenable products) and tools like Centrify. • Experience with centralized logging/monitoring platforms such as Splunk, Application Dynamics, or xMatters. • Automation-driven mindset with excellent problem-solving and communication skills. • Proven ability to work effectively in fast-paced, team-oriented environments. It is a strong plus if you have: • Certifications in cybersecurity or cloud technologies • Knowledge of Windows Server environments • Experience with Terraform, GIT, Jenkins, or similar DevOps tools Language required for the role: Excellent command of English, both verbal and written.
