FinOps Specialist

O projekcie: We’re looking for a FinOps Specialist to help us manage cloud costs and drive sound financial decisions across multi-cloud environments. This role is all about visibility, optimization, and impact. You will work at the intersection of Cloud, Finance, and Engineering — helping teams understand where money is spent and how to spend it better. We Offer - B2B contract and stable, long-term cooperation  - Luxmed private medical care  - Multisport sports card  - Hybrid work (1 x per week visit to the office in Warsaw)   Recruitment process: - HR interview - 20 min  - Meeting with the client - 1 hour Wymagania: - Proven experience in cloud financial management, preferably in GCP environments   - Hands-on experience with tools such as Google Cloud Billing, Budgets & Alerts, BigQuery, Cloud Monitoring, and Cloud Logging   - Strong experience in creating and managing cloud budgets and cost controls  - Experience in configuring GCP environments in line with FinOps principles (e.g., tagging, project structure, limits)  - Ability to bridge technical and financial domains and work effectively with cross-functional teams  - Familiarity with automation tools such as Terraform or Ansible   - Experience in training or educating teams on FinOps best practices   - Knowledge of Google Cloud Landing Zone Accelerator   - Ability to design and implement processes Codzienne zadania: - Manage and optimize cloud spending within Google Cloud Platform   - Design, monitor, and control cloud budgets across business units and projects  - Analyze cloud usage and identify cost-saving opportunities  - Implement and promote FinOps best practices (tagging, governance, budgeting, cost allocation)  - Configure and enhance cost monitoring tools (reporting, alerts, dashboards)  - Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, and finance teams to improve cost transparency  - Develop and standardize FinOps processes and frameworks  - Automate cost control and optimization activities  - Deliver training sessions and promote FinOps awareness across teams
