Role OverviewWe are seeking a skilled GCP DevOps Engineer to join our team in Krakow, Poland. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and CI/CD pipelines, ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our systems. This is an excellent opportunity to work on modern cloud environments and collaborate with global teams.Key Responsibilities • Design, implement, and manage GCP cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability and scalability. • Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for multiple applications. • Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment using tools like Terraform, Deployment Manager, or Ansible. • Monitor and maintain system performance, availability, and security in cloud environments. • Collaborate with development and product teams to support application deployments, performance tuning, and troubleshooting. • Implement best practices for security, compliance, and disaster recovery. • Participate in incident management, root cause analysis, and post-incident reviews. • Continuously improve DevOps processes, tools, and practices to drive efficiency and reliability. Skills & Experience • Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, GKE, VPC, IAM, Stackdriver, etc.) • Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, Deployment Manager, Ansible). • Expertise in CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or similar). • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes / GKE). • Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or similar). • Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools. • Understanding of security best practices and compliance requirements. • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative, agile environment. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). • GCP certifications (Professional Cloud Architect, Professional DevOps Engineer, or similar) are a plus.
