Head of Engineering

Zakres obowiązków: - Own the technology roadmap, architecture, and long-term technical vision. - Ensure the platform scales securely across customers, projects, and devices. - Lead architectural decisions across cloud infrastructure, integrations, data models, and access-control logic. - Balance innovation with operational stability in a safety-critical environment. - Lead and scale the engineering, QA, technical ops, and architecture teams. - Partner closely with Product, Operations, and Customer teams to align delivery with real-world job-site needs. - Establish and continuously improve SDLC, release management, and quality practices to ensure predictable delivery without sacrificing security or reliability. - Own the security and compliance posture, including SOC 2 audits, customer security reviews, and internal security. - Maintain and evolve policies around access control, data ownership, encryption, and auditability while partnering with leadership, legal, and external auditors on compliance and risk management. - Own cloud infrastructure, uptime, monitoring, and disaster recovery to ensure high availability for customers operating live construction sites. - Drive operational excellence around incident management, postmortems, and continuous improvement. - Take technical responsibility for the fleet of turnstiles, open portals, and handheld devices in the field. - Serve as a core member of the executive leadership team, partnering with the CEO, CPO, CSO, and other leaders on company strategy. - Represent the technology vision confidently with customers, partners, and auditors, while building a strong engineering culture grounded in accountability, pragmatism, and continuous learning.
