Infrastructure Engineer

Infrastructure Engineer (Enterprise Platforms) Location: Warsaw, Poland About the Role We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join a global Technology & Infrastructure team responsible for designing, operating, and continuously improving enterprise-grade platforms supporting business-critical systems. In this role, you will work within a product-oriented environment, contributing to the stability, scalability, and modernization of hybrid infrastructure solutions across on-premise and cloud environments. You will collaborate closely with engineering teams, product stakeholders, and service providers to ensure secure and high-performing systems. Key Responsibilities • Plan, estimate, and deliver infrastructure-related tasks independently • Collaborate with product teams and stakeholders to clarify technical requirements • Deploy, manage, and support enterprise HCI platforms (Nutanix, VMware) • Maintain and optimize Microsoft-based environments (Windows Server, Active Directory, SQL Server) • Support hybrid infrastructure environments (on-premise + Azure/AWS) • Ensure high standards of reliability, security, and operational excellence • Contribute to automation and scripting initiatives (PowerShell, Ansible, Terraform) • Work with backup and data protection solutions (e.g., Commvault) • Support hardware platforms such as Lenovo ThinkSystem servers Required Experience & Skills • Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in deployment, management, and support of enterprise infrastructure platforms • Strong knowledge of HCI environments (Nutanix, VMware) • Experience with Windows Server (2012–2022), Active Directory, WSUS • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server (2014–2019) • Familiarity with backup solutions (e.g., Commvault) • Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure and/or AWS) • Basic knowledge of automation tools (Ansible, Terraform, Azure Automation) • Scripting experience (PowerShell preferred) • Strong client-oriented mindset and ownership attitude • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in international environments • Fluent English Nice to Have • Experience with infrastructure automation initiatives • Exposure to large-scale enterprise or complex transformation projects
