Kubernetes Platform SRE Lead
Role - Platform SRE Lead
Location – Kraków, Poland - Hybrid
Role - Contract
Roles and Responsibilities
· 10+ Years of Experience
Ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of the infrastructure platform.
· Collaborate in diagnosing and resolving IKP infrastructure issues.
· Support the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of Kubernetes platform.
· Troubleshoot and resolve incidents, performance issues, and integration failures. Perform root cause analysis and implement reliability improvements.
· Provide 24x7 support as part of an on-call Rota. Weekend support is required.
· Support members of the small team of 5 people responsible for the above tasks and manage their monthly schedule and on-call Rota as well as collaborate with a Global SRE Team Lead to properly manage the local team involvement in a global workload.
Skills & Experience Required
· Solid technical knowledge and experience with Kubernetes administration. 3+ years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes administration. Strong knowledge of Kubernetes concepts and operations and troubleshooting tools.
· Understanding of containerization and orchestration. Experience with Unix administration skills. Experience with Service Meshes is a plus.
· Understanding of ITIL processes and automation skills. Incident, Problem, Change Management processes are used at the bank to keep our changes safe and to learn from mistakes. Familiarity with infrastructure as a code.
· Strong analytical and communication skills. You must know how to analyse data from logs and monitoring dashboards and communicate with the other teams the issues and problems to improve resilience. You must be able to work effectively within a team and across different teams.
· Proficiency in English. We are a diverse company. Ability to communicate on a business level with everyone is a must.
