Lead Cloud Engineer

Wymagania: - Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience as a cloud engineer or cloud architect - Minimum 6 years of Azure (GCP and/or AWS will be a plus) - Experience with “Well-Architected Framework” principals, infrastructure as code practices (e.g. Terraform) and agile development methodologies - Strong proficiency in Python - Ability to use scripting languages and APIs to facilitate cloud automation - Experience with cloud native solutions as well as migration to the cloud - Working knowledge of DevOps and GitOps principles and practices. - Inter-cultural understanding and experience - Strong communication, problem solving, analytical and troubleshooting skills - Ability to deal with ambiguity while working in a continually changing environment under indirect supervision - Show a general understanding of cloud technologies, cloud platform operations and cloud governance with a focus on automation, analysis, modification, cost optimization and interoperability of cloud services Codzienne zadania: - Show an advanced understanding of cloud technologies, cloud platform operations and cloud governance with a focus on automation, analysis, modification and testing of cloud services - Prepare technical documentation, including design evaluation plans, test results and technical manuals - Plan migrations from on-prem to cloud - Ensures solutions are in line with company security and compliance regulations and cloud best practices - Give guidance how to transform on-prem applications into cloud native - Identifies, verifies and remediates inconsistent cloud configurations - Advise Product Owners in regards of technical aspects, new trends and Cloud Platform development strategy - Supports FinOps team to optimize cloud costs - Facilitate removal of technical debt in legacy solutions - Seek opportunities to discover new and better solutions. - Communicates basic cloud concepts to technical audiences and management; technical issues and problems to vendors to solve cloud problems - Maintain good relationship with stakeholders and consumers - Identify and pursue opportunities for self-improvement of technical and non-technical skills - Take the initiative to do what needs to be done without being asked - Articulate and advocate new cloud technical and non-technical ideas -
