Krakow-based opportunity with hybrid work model.As a Mid-Level Infrastructure Operations Engineer, you will be working for our client, a leading technology company committed to delivering stable and efficient digital solutions. You will be instrumental in ensuring our client's infrastructure runs smoothly, resolving incidents, and maintaining high system performance, all to support innovative products and outstanding customer experiences. This role offers a pathway to deepen your expertise and propel your career in infrastructure engineering. Your main responsibilities: • Deliver operational solutions and troubleshoot technical issues to maintain infrastructure stability. • Handle incidents and outages with swift, effective response procedures. • Perform ongoing infrastructure engineering activities to optimize system performance. • Ensure ongoing system reliability and high availability of technology products and services. • Collaborate with technical teams to implement best practices in infrastructure management. • Document incidents and solutions to improve future responses. • Support the maintenance and upgrade of on-premise Unix-based systems. You're ideal for this role if you have: • At least 3 years of experience in operations engineering or infrastructure management. • Strong knowledge of Unix systems and on-premise infrastructure. • Excellent problem-solving and incident management skills. • Ability to work flexibly, including working 4-6 days per month from the office. • Good communication skills in English. It is a strong plus if you have: (optional) • Experience with cloud environments or automation tools. • Relevant certifications in system administration or infrastructure management. Language Required for the role: • Communicative English (fluent usage in a professional environment).
