Warszawa-based opportunity with hybrid work model.As a Systematic Market Making Production Engineering Specialist (SRE Engineer), you will be working for our client, a leader in electronic trading. This role offers a unique chance to optimize high-stakes trading systems, ensuring their stability, performance, and automation. Your main responsibilities: • Develop, deploy, and maintain resilient and scalable infrastructure for electronic trading systems. • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and implement automation solutions. • Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize system reliability and efficiency. • Participate in on-call rotations, ensuring 24/7 stability of trading environments. • Use best practices in DevOps and SRE to enhance operational processes. • Contribute to documentation, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives. You're ideal for this role if you have: • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in software development or production engineering within a financial or tech environment. • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Java. • Deep understanding of Linux systems and networking concepts. • Experience with version control tools like Git. • Hands-on familiarity with SRE/DevOps tools including Prometheus, Grafana, Jenkins, or GitLab CI. • Proven ability to troubleshoot and automate complex system issues. It is a strong plus if you have: (optional) • Experience with high-performance trading systems. • Shell scripting and C++ skills. • Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). • Cloud platform exposure such as AWS or Azure. • Experience with financial markets and electronic trading.
