• Industry: banking
• Rate: up to 170 pln/h net + VAT, B2B
• Location: Gdańsk/Gdynia/Warsaw - hybrid (2-3 days in the office)
Introduction & Summary
Join a skilled Telemetry team as an Observability Engineer, focusing on the design, development, and maintenance of observability solutions in the Technology Services unit. This role emphasizes the creation of comprehensive Grafana and PowerBI dashboards, requiring strong technical skills in observability and data visualization.
Main Responsibilities
- Actively participate in planning sessions, propose enhancements, and contribute innovative ideas.
- Collaborate with technical experts and diverse stakeholders.
- Engage in implementation tasks and resolve technical issues in your area.
• Participate in team planning and improvement sessions.
• Work closely with other technical experts.
• Implement solutions and troubleshoot related issues.
Key Requirements
• Strong knowledge of observability fundamentals, including metrics, logs, and traces.
• Proficient in data visualization best practices.
• Experience with configurations from sources like Prometheus, InfluxDB, or AppDynamics.
• Skilled in dashboard design, including variables and transformations.
• Proficiency in provisioning as code / infrastructure as code.
• Experience with Grafana and Grafana Alerting.
• Proficient in Git/Bitbucket.
• Excellent proficiency in JSON.
• Experience with scripting languages like Bash or Python.
• Strong analysis and troubleshooting skills.
• Application development or engineering experience.
• Graduate degree in Computer Science, Telecommunication, or related fields.
• Fluent in English.
Nice to Have
• Hands-on experience with Splunk.
• Hands-on experience with AppDynamics.
• Hands-on experience with PowerBI.
• Experience in international projects or agile methodologies.
