Platform Engineer (AWS, Terraform, PowerShell)

We’re looking for a skilled Cloud Engineer with a focus on Azure, Infrastructure as Code, and automation to join our growing cloud team. You’ll work on projects that combine legacy infrastructure modernization with scalable cloud-native design, all in an agile (Scrum) environment. You’ll collaborate with a distributed, international team and use modern tooling such as Azure DevOps, Git, Visual Studio Code, and SonarCloud to deliver secure, reliable, and automated infrastructure. Responsibilities • Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure with Amazon Web Services using Terraform and EC2 • Develop and optimize GitHub Enterprise Action pipelines and support CI/CD processes • Troubleshoot infrastructure and service issues in Azure environments • Automate recurring operational tasks using PowerShell and and AI powered tools • Monitor infrastructure health and performance using CloudWatch, Grafana and custom alerting • Participate in rollouts and deployment planning using Blue-Green strategies • Ensure compliance with internal security guidelines and implement cloud security best practices • Maintain accurate infrastructure documentation • Support application teams by ensuring scalable, stable infrastructure and DevOps tooling Qualifications • Proven experience with AWS IaaS and PaaS services including EC2, Lambda, SSM, RDS, MSK and Redis cache • Hands-on expertise in Terraform, EC2 instance installation and monitoring and PowerShell scripting • Experience configuring and maintaining AWS DevOps environments, including CI/CD pipelines and Git repositories • Strong understanding of cloud networking, security concepts, IAM, OAuth2, OpenID Connect and infrastructure monitoring • Solid Linux system administration skills, strong problem-solving ability and capacity to work independently • University degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, with very good communication skills in English and Polish and confidence in client-facing environments Nice to have • Experience with Linux-based systems and virtual image management • Knowledge of AWS base images, troubleshooting, Networking and repository management • Exposure to containerization and Kubernetes • Experience with REST APIs and tools like Postman or .http files in VS Code About Riverland Reply Riverland Reply is specialized in consulting end-to-end customer-oriented solutions and strategies.
