Senior AWS DevOps Consultant

Contract: B2BLength: 6 months + possible extensions Hybrid model: 2 days from the Warsaw office, the rest remotely Start: ASAP/Flexible Required standard background check after receiving the offer The Senior AWS DevOps Consultant plays a crucial role, focusing on enhancing the organization's cloud data capabilities via AWS. This position aims to leverage extensive experience in AWS and Data Warehousing to support and mentor internal data teams effectively. Main Responsibilities: • Support the team in building infrastructure for Data Warehouse solutions for a growing internal client base. • Optimize the existing setup, enhancing the current design and automation. • Ensure security, scalability, and documentation of Redshift DWH. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams. • Automate and manage AWS infrastructure using Terraform. • Act as a technical mentor and share best practices on data architecture. • Provide pair-programming sessions to develop AWS skills. Key Requirements: • Minimum 5 years of experience in Cloud Infrastructure. • Proficiency with Terraform, AWS Cloud, multi-account AWS Organizations, and CI/CD. • Experience implementing AWS infrastructure solutions. • Ability to establish best practices in cost optimization and performance. • Excellent communication and mentoring skills. • Fluent English and familiarity with Agile methodologies. Nice to Have: • Experience with migration projects. • Expertise in AWS Redshift and other AWS services. • Familiarity with tools like GitHub, GitHub Actions, jfrog, and Python. • Knowledge of data governance or security aspects. • Experience in multi-cloud environments (AWS + Azure).
