Senior AWS Platform Engineer

Location: Warsaw, Poland (2 days/week in-office) Contract duration: April-October 2026 Rate: up to 190 PLN/h SummaryThe role of a Senior AWS Platform Engineer is aimed at driving the productization of AWS core services, fostering innovation through cloud technology, and supporting sustainable practices in a business context. Main Responsibilities• Productize AWS native services: Design and build standardized, enterprise-ready cloud products (e.g., EC2, RDS, S3). • Drive automation using Infrastructure as Code with tools like Terraform/CloudFormation. • Embed governance and security controls into AWS products. • Enable developers with onboarding guides, training, and self-service templates. • Foster collaboration with product owners and application teams. • Ensure operational excellence through resilience and cost optimization. Key Requirements• Strong hands-on experience with various AWS services. • Proficiency with Terraform, AWS AFT, or CloudFormation. • Experience with GitHub Actions, GitOps, and CI/CD pipelines. • Working knowledge of Kubernetes/EKS. • Understanding of identity management concepts (IAM). • Knowledge of AWS networking concepts. • Ability to think in a product-oriented manner. • Strong communication skills for team collaboration. Nice to Have• Familiarity with automation tools (e.g., Ansible). • Experience with observability tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Grafana). • Experience with agile and DevOps practices. • Leadership potential to mentor junior engineers. • Knowledge of cloud security practices and compliance frameworks.
