Senior Cloud Devops Engineer

📍 Location: Kraków (hybrid: 2 days in the office / 3 days remote) 💰 B2B: 200 - 230 PLN/h We are looking for an experienced Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer to join a global engineering team supporting a mission-critical collateral and margining platform used within a large international financial institution. The platform supports high-volume daily processing for thousands of global banking clients and operates in a distributed microservices architecture across on-prem and cloud environments. The team operates in a DevSecOps model, collaborating across multiple global locations and delivering frequent production releases in a highly controlled, high-availability environment. Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain cloud and on-prem infrastructure for critical enterprise applications • Work with development teams to understand infrastructure requirements and translate them into scalable architectural solutions • Prepare and maintain technical design documentation and participate in architecture reviews • Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation tooling • Develop automation for operational tasks in Linux environments • Manage CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes across production and non-production environments • Ensure high availability, performance, scalability, and security of systems (cloud and on-prem) • Collaborate with SRE, DBA, networking, storage, and Linux teams to support production systems • Own build, release, and configuration management processes • Implement and maintain integration connectivity (MQ, sFTP, REST, file-based interfaces) • Identify opportunities for automation and reduce manual operational effort • Support Service Management activities (DR, backups, patching, upgrades, vulnerability management) • Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, application, and network issues • Perform system analysis and recommend improvements for performance and reliability Requirements • 8+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps / Cloud / Infrastructure engineering roles • Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including services such as GKE, Cloud SQL, Pub/Sub, BigQuery, and Cloud Operations • Strong hands-on experience with DevOps tooling: Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform, Docker, GitHub • Advanced scripting skills in Python and/or Shell (Go is a plus) • Strong Linux administration skills and experience with containerized environments • Experience in CI/CD pipeline design, implementation, and maintenance • Good knowledge of PostgreSQL and relational databases (Oracle experience is a plus) • Experience with messaging systems (IBM MQ or similar) and sFTP connectivity • Understanding of TLS, certificates, and secure communication protocols • Experience working with REST APIs using Python/Shell • Strong troubleshooting skills (network, infrastructure, distributed systems) • Solid understanding of DevSecOps principles • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills • Ability to translate business and functional requirements into technical solutions • Proactive mindset with ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment Nice to Have • Experience in Java / microservices-based environments • Exposure to Solace or similar messaging platforms • Experience managing GCP projects using Terraform at scale • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (K8S), Flux CD, GitOps practices • Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) • Experience in banking / financial services domain • Experience with supply of large-scale distributed systems in enterprise environments What We Offer • Work on a global, high-scale cloud and collateral platform within financial services • Long-term B2B cooperation • Exposure to modern cloud transformation and DevSecOps practices • Collaboration with international teams across multiple regions • Private medical care (LuxMed) • Sports card (Multisport) Why apply for an Antal job offer?
