Senior DBA Postgres

Nasze wymagania:
10+ years of hands-on PostgreSQL administration and replication experience (logical & physical).
Deep expertise in WAL archiving, streaming replication, logical decoding.
Strong skills in performance tuning, indexing strategies, and query optimization.
Proficiency in automation with Ansible, Jenkins, and scripting languages.
Solid understanding of security practices, auditing, and access control.
Familiarity with Google Cloud (Cloud SQL, GKE, VPC) and exposure to AWS or Azure.
Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack is a plus.

Mile widziane:
PostgreSQL certification is a plus.
Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
Exposure to other databases (MySQL, Oracle, or NoSQL) is a bonus.

We are looking for an experienced PostgreSQL Engineer with expert-level knowledge of logical and physical replication to be part of our dynamic team. This role involves working on high availability, disaster recovery, and performance optimization, while leveraging modern DevOps practices and cloud technologies.

Zakres obowiązków:
Design, implement, and manage logical & physical replication for PostgreSQL to ensure high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR).
Optimize database performance by tuning configurations and queries.
Automate database deployment and management tasks using Ansible, Jenkins, and scripting (Bash/Python).
Develop and maintain robust backup, restore, and failover strategies, including work with EDB Failover Manager (EFM).
Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to ensure scalability and reliability of databases.
Monitor database health, implement security best practices, and troubleshoot replication issues.
Work with Google Cloud services (Cloud SQL, IAM, GKE, networking, monitoring) and other cloud platforms.
