Senior Devops (Azure)

This project focuses on building and operating a secure, scalable, and automated cloud and hybrid infrastructure platform. It emphasizes Infrastructure as Code, standardized CI/CD pipelines, and cloud‑native architectures to enable fast, reliable, and cost‑efficient application delivery. The solution integrates Kubernetes-based container orchestration, advanced deployment strategies, enterprise-grade security, and full observability, while providing automation and self-service tooling to improve operational efficiency and developer productivity through close collaboration with central Operations teams. • Design, provision, and operate secure Linux/Unix-based infrastructure across cloud and hybrid environments using automation-first principles. • Implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and collaborate with the central Operations team to automate, standardize, and scale infrastructure provisioning. • Define enterprise-grade CI/CD pipeline patterns with reusable, modular frameworks supporting multiple services, environments, and deployment models. • Reduce build-to-deploy lead time by optimizing pipelines and enabling multiple deployment strategies (blue/green, canary, rolling, and progressive delivery). • Engineer cloud-native architectures with built-in scalability, resiliency, and cost optimization. • Design and manage cloud networking, load balancing, DNS, TLS, and secure service connectivity. • Establish containerization standards and manage Kubernetes platforms for consistent application orchestration and lifecycle management. • Develop automation and platform tooling using Shell, Python, to improve operational efficiency and developer self-service. • Enforce identity, access management (IAM), RBAC, and secrets management aligned with enterprise security and compliance standards. • Implement observability, reliability, and shift-left security practices by integrating monitoring, logging, alerting, SAST/DAST scans, and automated compliance and policy enforcement within CI/CD pipelines • Work closely with central Ops team to automate and scale infrastructure provisioning • 7+ years of experience with Strong knowledge of Azure concepts like Infrastructure as a Code (IaaS) and Platform as a Code (PaaS) services like Virtual Network, Virtual Machines, Azure Pipelines, APIM, App service, AAD, Event Hubs, Storage Account, AKS Cluster etc. • Strong knowledge of concepts like CI/CD, Git, DevOps, and Shell Scripting. • Strong knowledge Tools like Azure DevOps, Docker, Containers and Kubernetes and Helm Charts. • Hands-on experience of automation tools like Terraform and/or Azure Resource Manager (ARM) Templates. • Logging, monitoring of environment with cost tracking and alerting instrumentation. • Working experience with Azure Application Insight, Azure monitor and Azure log Analytics. • Automation for operational activities (Backup, Restore, Patching, Upgrades etc.) • Experience working in Agile/Scrum/Kanban team environments.
