Senior DevOps Engineer

Position Overview In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing cloud and on-premises infrastructure to ensure consistent high availability and optimal system performance. The position emphasizes automation of operational workflows, support for deployment pipelines, and maintaining a high standard of system resilience and security. This is a hybrid position based in Cracow, Poland. Key Responsibilities • Oversee, monitor, and manage production environments to uphold stability and reliability • Automate routine operational processes using scripting and configuration management tools • Work closely with development and QA teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines and deployment activities • Diagnose and resolve infrastructure and application issues quickly • Continuously improve system security, perform backups, and maintain disaster recovery protocols • Track system metrics and logs to proactively detect and address emerging issues • Participate in on-call rotations and support incident response activities • Maintain comprehensive documentation of operational procedures and contribute to knowledge sharing • Required Skills & Qualifications • 8+ years’ experience in IT operations, system administration, or DevOps-related roles • Solid background with Linux/Unix and Windows server environments • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP • Proficiency with scripting languages like Bash, PowerShell, or Python • Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code solutions (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Puppet) • Experience with monitoring and alerting tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios) • Good understanding of networking concepts, firewall configurations, and security best practices • Strong analytical and communication abilities Preferred Qualifications • Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) • Knowledge of CI/CD automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps) • Familiarity with ITIL methodologies and service management platforms (e.g., ServiceNow) • Relevant professional certifications (e.g., AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, RHCE, Azure Administrator) What’s Offered • Employment contract or B2B cooperation • Hybrid working model (2 office days and 3 remote days per week) • Flexible benefits platform, including sports, recreation, travel, and cultural offerings • Access to a sports card (e.g., Multisport) • Private comprehensive medical care for employee and family • Group life insurance • Access to professional learning and development resources • Discounted tickets for cultural events (theatre, etc.) • Work in an international and diverse environment
