Senior DevOps Engineer – Cloud & CI/CD Automation

As a Senior DevOps Engineer – Cloud & CI/CD Automation, you will be working for our client—an industry leader in cutting-edge technology solutions. Your main responsibilities: • Implement, continuously improve, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment processes effectively • Provision and maintain secure components on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) • Use container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes to package and deploy system components • Support compliance requirements across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes • Automate infrastructure and application maintenance tasks to ensure reliability and efficiency • Collaborate with developers, architects, testers, and the wider organization to streamline application building and deployment • Participate in software architecture design, ensuring solutions follow best practices and design patterns • Analyze requirements thoroughly and recommend improvements to enhance system performance and security • Stay updated with industry trends, tools, and emerging best practices in DevOps and cloud technology You're ideal for this role if you have: • At least 7 years of professional experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or a related field • Strong expertise with containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes • Good working knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) • Proven experience building CI pipelines with Jenkins or similar tools • Solid background in Linux system administration, with scripting skills in Bash and PowerShell • Proficiency in modern scripting languages, especially Python • Strong troubleshooting skills and experience in technical support or network support roles It is a strong plus if you have: • Certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., GCP certifications) • Experience with infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform) • Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments Language Required for the role: • Fluent English, both written and spoken Eligibility to work on this role: • Only candidates with an existing legal right to work in the European Union will be considered for this role. #MAKEYourCareerBETTER Interested?
