Senior DevOps Engineer (m/k)

💼 Role: Senior DevOps Engineer 🌍 Location: Hybrid from Wrocław (2 days/week in the office) 📆 Start: ASAP 📄 Contract: UoP For our client, a fast-growing international fin-tech company building an advanced enterprise data automation platform, we are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer. You will play a key role in shaping CI/CD, delivery, and observability across a complex, cloud-native product used by global enterprise customers. This is a hands-on, senior-level position with real technical ownership and influence on engineering standards. 🔧 What you’ll do: • Design, drive, and continuously improve CI/CD strategy to ensure fast, secure, and reliable software delivery • Architect and evolve build systems, release pipelines, and automation frameworks at scale • Take ownership of observability, including logging, metrics, tracing, alerting, and SLO-driven operations • Build internal tools that improve developer productivity and streamline engineering workflows • Work closely with development teams to optimise builds, standardise environments, and automate the SDLC • Create and maintain reusable CI/CD templates, libraries, and best practices (e.g. GitLab CI, Flux, Helm) • Provide senior-level support during major incidents, including root-cause analysis and long-term remediation • Ensure seamless integration of delivery systems with Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure • Mentor engineers and promote self-service capabilities within CI/CD and observability domains • Research, recommend, and implement new technologies to improve delivery performance, reliability, and monitoring 🌟 Offer: • Competitive salary package tailored to experience and skills (annual reviews) • Performance-based bonus or success-share scheme • Private medical insurance and life insurance • Multisport card • Unlimited annual leave based on trust and ownership • Enhanced parental and family-related benefits • Employee Assistance Programme • Additional paid days off for volunteering • Flexible working model and home-office allowance • Annual learning & development budget • Referral bonuses for successful recommendations • Spot awards and recognition programs • Access to well-being initiatives ✅ Requirements: • 7+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform, or Build Engineering roles • Strong background in large-scale CI/CD systems and developer workflow optimisation • Hands-on expertise with modern CI/CD tools (e.g. GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins) • Solid experience designing and running observability platforms (e.g. Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Jaeger/Tempo, OpenTelemetry, Honeycomb) • Proficiency in scripting and automation using Bash, Python, or Golang • Deep understanding of containerisation, build optimisation, caching, and artifact management (Docker, etc.) • Experience leading cross-team initiatives and defining CI/CD standards, governance, and quality controls • Ability to combine technical leadership with hands-on implementation • Relevant certifications (DevOps, Kubernetes, AWS, etc.) are a strong advantage 📩 Interested?
