Opis stanowiska
We are looking for a Principal/ Senior GCP DevOps Engineer to join our growing Platform Engineering team.
In this role, you will work closely with engineering and infrastructure teams to design, build, and operate scalable, secure, and highly available cloud environments. You will play a key role in shaping our cloud architecture, improving reliability, and driving automation across the organization.
Technology stack:

• GKE (Google Kubernetes Engine)
• Cloud SQL, Pub/Sub, Cloud Run
• Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)
• Kubernetes, Helm
• CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI preferred)
• Observability stack (Grafana, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry)
• BigQuery
Responsibilities:
• Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure on GCP using Terraform
• Operate and optimize Kubernetes clusters (GKE) with a strong focus on reliability, scalability, and security
• Build and evolve observability solutions (metrics, logs, traces, alerting)
• Manage and optimize GCP native services and cost efficiency
• Automate infrastructure and operational processes to improve resilience and reduce manual effort
• Define and enforce Infrastructure as Code standards (modules, state management, CI/CD integration)
• Collaborate with development teams on architecture, performance, and deployment strategies
• Participate in incident response, postmortems, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Participate in a periodic on-call rotation
Requirements:
•
8+ years of experience in DevOps / Cloud Engineering
• Hands-on experience running Kubernetes in production environments
(networking, RBAC, scaling, Helm deployments)
• Strong experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code best practices
• Practical experience with GCP services (GKE, Cloud SQL, Pub/Sub, Cloud Run)
• Solid understanding of Linux systems and networking fundamentals
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams
• Experience supporting cloud-based applications in production environments
Nice to have:
• Experience with AWS
• Experience with Cloudflare
• Experience with GitLab
• Familiarity with SonarQube
• Experience with security tooling and compliance (e.g., IAM, vulnerability management)
