Opis stanowiska
We are seeking an experienced DevOps & Observability Engineer to drive the evolution of our enterprise monitoring ecosystem. In this role, you will bridge the gap between infrastructure, application development, and reliable monitoring by architecting robust, scalable observability solutions across our international application landscape.
You will lead initiatives that move teams from reactive troubleshooting to proactive, end-to-end operational awareness while championing modern DevOps practices across cross-functional engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
• Architect Full-Stack Observability: Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive telemetry solutions covering core infrastructure, distributed application tiers, and critical business transaction flows.
• Establish Scalable Frameworks: Define reusable "monitoring-as-code" standards and self-service blueprints that allow multiple product teams to adopt monitoring smoothly and uniformly.
• Advance Monitoring Maturity: Elevate engineering standards around tracing, metrics, centralized logging, and alerting to proactively minimize system downtime and latency.
• Streamline Delivery & Automation: Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD release pipelines to facilitate seamless, automated software delivery.
• Evangelize DevOps Best Practices: Coach and mentor development squads on operational ownership, autonomous delivery workflows, and modern cloud-native methodologies.
• Drive Continuous Innovation: Track emerging trends in observability and DevOps tooling, running pilots and integrating ELK Stack, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry to keep our technology stack modern.
Project Context & Tech Stack
You will join a global, cross-functional applications department collaborating closely with core infrastructure and engineering squads. A primary focus of this position is contributing to our centralized E2E Command Center initiative, which consolidates telemetry into a unified operational dashboard.
• Observability & Telemetry: ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), Elastic Agent, Grafana, OpenTelemetry (OTel)
• Automation, CI/CD & Scripting: Python, Git, modern CI/CD orchestrators
• Containers & Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes
• Supporting Infrastructure: PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ, and enterprise Linux services
Candidate Profile
• Master’s degree (BAC+5 or equivalent university degree) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 6 years of hands-on professional experience in DevOps, systems engineering, or specialized observability roles.
• Proven track record deploying and fine-tuning ELK, Grafana, and modern OpenTelemetry architectures.
• Demonstrated expertise with container runtimes (Docker), container orchestration (Kubernetes), version control (Git), and automated deployment pipelines.
• Solid working understanding of backing services and middleware, including relational databases (PostgreSQL) and message brokers (RabbitMQ).
• Excellent interpersonal skills with full business fluency in English, comfortable collaborating across geographically distributed teams.
