About the Role
- We are looking for a Senior / Lead DevOps Engineer to join our central DevOps team in a fintech environment.- This role focuses on enabling engineering teams to deliver software safely, efficiently, and consistently through modern CI/CD practices, automation, cloud tooling, and strong SDLC discipline.- You will work across multiple teams and use cases, helping improve pipelines, define delivery standards, support developer workflows, and provide practical guidance on DevOps, release engineering, package management, and automation best practices.
Work Arrangement
- This is a hybrid role based in Warsaw, with three days per week in the office. Remote contract arrangements are being considered.- The role is offered primarily as a permanent contract (Umowa o Pracę – UoP). B2B contracts also available.- Salary range: 25,000 PLN – 40,000 PLN (depending on experience and contract type).

Skills & Experience Required
- Strong experience in DevOps, automation, platform engineering, or similar roles- Deep understanding of CI/CD concepts, SDLC practices, and modern software delivery- Hands-on experience with GitLab, GitHub, Jenkins, or similar tools- Strong scripting skills (e.g. Bash, Python)- Solid Linux knowledge and troubleshooting capabilities- Experience with artifact/package management (e.g. Nexus, Artifactory, Docker registries)- Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Experience in fintech, banking, or regulated environments- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)- Experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, or cloud-native tools- Background in software development (Java, C#, Go, TypeScript, etc.)- Familiarity with APIs, messaging systems, or enterprise architectures- Experience building reusable CI/CD components or internal developer tooling
