Strong hands-on experience with Bazel (key requirement)
Experience working with large-scale monorepositories or complex build systems
Senior-level or Tech Lead experience
Ability to work independently after a short technical onboarding
Strong understanding of Linux environments
Experience with CI/CD automation and developer tooling
Experience with a programming language of choice (Java, C++, Python/Go)
Experience with IaaS / SaaS platforms such as Google Cloud Platform
Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure
Must possess a legal work permit in Poland

Knowledge of GitHub Actions
Experience with Kubernetes
Experience with Bazel Remote Execution
Experience building and maintaining developer platforms or developer productivity tooling
Knowledge of glibc overlays and advanced Linux build environments

O projekcie:
We are looking for an experienced Build & Platform Engineer to join a Platform Engineering team responsible for developing and maintaining a platform that supports software build, testing, and delivery processes.
The team works on a large-scale monorepository based on Bazel, Nix, and GitHub Actions, supporting projects developed in C++, Java, Python, Go, and JavaScript. The platform provides CIaaS and reusable CD configurations including Kubernetes deployment solutions such as canary releases.
We are looking for someone who builds and maintains the tooling and infrastructure used by engineering teams to compile, test, and ship software efficiently.

Zakres obowiązków:
Migrate a large monorepository to a new version of Bazel
Optimize and extend the existing monorepo build setup
Analyze and improve Bazel configurations, including performance optimizations and Remote Execution setup
Develop and maintain build infrastructure based on Nix
Support C++ and LLVM toolchains for different runtime environments
Improve dependency isolation for development workflows, Git hooks, and project-specific tooling
Troubleshoot complex build and infrastructure issues
Collaborate with engineering teams to improve developer productivity and CI/CD processes
