About the role
You'll help design, operate, and scale the cloud infrastructure behind the whole platform. This is health tech — a fast-growing remote care system that keeps older patients healthy and out of hospital — so the work carries real weight: clinical and engineering teams need to ship safely and quickly, and your job is to make that possible.
You'll push automation, observability, and platform maturity forward, raising both delivery velocity and system reliability at the same time.
What you'll do
• Lead the design, build-out, and ongoing improvement of the cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices
• Keep systems scalable, reliable, and secure, so software ships smoothly across environments
• Maintain and mature core services on Kubernetes — resilient networking, monitoring, autoscaling, and well-architected patterns
• Drive Terraform-based IaC, sharpen observability, and keep infrastructure spend under control
• Introduce and enforce DevSecOps: least-privilege IAM, image scanning, and runtime policy controls across clusters
Must-have
• 8+ years of hands-on DevOps experience
• Strong with AWS and Kubernetes, including operating and debugging production clusters
• Proficient with Terraform, Helm, and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or similar)
• Solid grasp of observability and troubleshooting with tools like Datadog
• Able to design reliable, scalable systems and improve monitoring, alerting, and incident response
• Strong communication and collaboration, with experience mentoring engineers across teams
• Experience in healthcare or another highly regulated industry
