We've also done to ourselves what we now do for clients. We've restructured our own company around AI — tools, policies, roles, delivery models. This isn't a pitch. It's a playbook we've already run, and we're hiring the engineers who will run it for others. The Opportunity The pharmaceutical discount ecosystem is broken. Billions of dollars are lost in non-compliant discounts, manual disputes, and fragmented data. While others are just starting to explore AI, our client is building the mission-critical infrastructure that ensures drug discounts are applied correctly, so resources can flow back to patient care. We are looking for a Staff Infrastructure Engineer who doesn't just write code but builds scalable, production-grade solutions for complex problems. You will join a team that values high-quality engineering, automated testing, and a "builders first" mindset. This isn't about maintaining legacy systems—it’s about architecting the future of drug discount management. Important note: You will be a key player in a high-growth environment, owning features from the initial design to cloud deployment. This is a role for an engineer who thrives on technical autonomy and wants to see their work directly impact a multi-billion dollar industry. Reliability & Operations - Lead adoption of SRE practices: SLOs/SLIs, error budgets, incident management, and post-incident reviews.  - Design and maintain observability (metrics, logs, traces, alerts, dashboards) across services and infrastructure.  - Automate runbooks and self-healing mechanisms to reduce toil and improve MTTR.  Platform & Developer Experience - Design and evolve a self-service platform (environments, CI/CD, infra templates) that helps teams ship safely and quickly.  - Own and improve Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and GitOps workflows.  - Build reusable platform components and tools that standardize how services are built, deployed, and operated.  Security, Compliance & Data - Partner with Security and Compliance to embed zero-trust, least privilege, and encryption into infrastructure patterns.  - Support healthcare-grade compliance (e.g., SOC 2, HIPAA, HITRUST) through infrastructure design and automation.  - Collaborate with data teams on secure, reliable data platforms and pipelines.  Cost, Efficiency & Resilience - Lead FinOps practices: visibility into spend, cost optimization, and guardrails that balance cost and reliability.  - Design for resilience and recovery: backup/restore, DR, and regional failover strategies.  - Continuously tune performance and capacity across compute, storage, and networking.  Leadership & Influence - Demonstrated ability to set technical direction and influence multiple teams without formal authority.  - Proven track record leading complex, cross-functional initiatives from design through rollout.  - Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to explain tradeoffs and decisions to both engineers and business stakeholders.  - Passion for mentoring and coaching other engineers and raising the overall technical bar.  - Comfort operating in ambiguity, making pragmatic decisions, and iterating as you learn.  What do we offer? - Culture of teamwork, professional development, and knowledge sharing (  - Flexible working hours and remote work possibility  - Multisport card  - Private medical care  - Culture of good feedback: code reviews, evaluation meetings, mentoring.  - Comfortable office in central Warsaw equipped with all the necessary tools for comfortable work (Macbook Pro, external screen, ergonomic chairs) - if working on-site Wymagania: Requirements - Cloud & Platform: Deep experience with at least one major cloud provider, Azure preferred, (AWS, Azure, or GCP) at an architectural level; proven ability to design and operate highly available, secure, cloud-native systems.  - Containers & Orchestration: Hands-on experience with Kubernetes or similar, plus key ecosystem tools (ingress, service mesh, operators).  - Infrastructure as Code & Automation: Expert with IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi, etc.), modular design, and automation using Python, Go, or similar.  - CI/CD & Delivery: Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CircleCI, Azure DevOps), including progressive delivery (blue/green, canary, feature flags) and safe rollback.  - Observability & SRE: Strong understanding of SRE principles and hands-on work with observability stacks (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, ELK/EFK, Datadog, New Relic).  - Security, Compliance & Networking: Deep understanding of cloud security best practices, IAM, network segmentation, secrets management, and encryption; familiarity with frameworks like SOC 2, HIPAA, HITRUST; strong grasp of networking (VPCs, subnets, routing, load balancers, VPNs, firewalls).  - Data & Emerging Tech: Experience supporting data platforms and pipelines in the cloud and familiarity with ML/AI infrastructure impacts on architecture and cost. Codzienne zadania: - Your primary goal is to design and scale the platform's core infrastructure, ensuring it can handle massive data volumes with precision and reliability. - Architecture & Strategy - Define and evolve infrastructure and support platform architecture for key products and services.  - Drive a multi-year roadmap for reliability, security and support platform capabilities.  - Establish reference architectures and golden paths that product and data teams can adopt.
