The Global Reserving Platform team delivers business value through stable, high‑quality IT operations and continuous improvement of financial data processing across Munich Re’s Reinsurance divisions. We are looking for a technically skilled system administrator with strong IT operations experience, a focus on monitoring and data quality, and an interest in financial data workflows. You will join our product team located across Munich, Warsaw, and Gdańsk and contribute to the operational excellence of our global finance platform. How you will get the job done - administrating Windows Server environments, including IIS, services, and scheduled tasks, to ensure stable and reliable platform operations - supporting and maintaining TM1 / Planning Analytics environments with a solid understanding of TM1 Server architecture and Cognos integrations - analyzing data failures in test cases, review data quality gates, and manage the review process by handing it over to 3rd level support - managing MS SQL Server instances, including configuration, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting - supporting API‑based integrations built on .NET Framework and .NET Core, ensuring smooth connectivity and operational stability - setting up, operating and troubleshooting R/Python environments, including R scripts and R-based APIs, used in financial data processing - monitoring system health, automate operational tasks where possible, and proactively resolve issues to maintain high service availability - providing services during standard business hours, with rare availability on Saturdays during closing periods
