As a Lead Software Engineer, You will leverage your expertise in Angular frontend development, and the Azure cloud ecosystem to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performing solutions. This role requires a strong mix of hands-on engineering, and architectural thinking to ensure both immediate delivery and long-term sustainability. You will be part of a scrum team working closely with Product Owner and business stakeholders. Besides your team you will work with other colleagues across our unit ESSENTIAL • Over 4 years of hands-on experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS/SASS, Angular framework and Node.js • Familiarity with front-end build tools (Webpack, NX, Angular CLI) • Experience building responsive, accessible, and mobile-friendly web applications. • Knowledge of design patterns and principals (OOP, SOLID) and proven ability to use them in practice • Practical knowledge of software development practices (like TDD, BDD) • Hands-on experience doing peer reviews and utilizing code quality tools like SonarQube • Experience in CI/CD and understanding of DevOps principles • Strong fundamentals in software testing tools, techniques and methodologies. • Experience in building unit tests and integration tests (like Selenium, NUnit, Jasmine, Jest) • Proficient in Git and hands-on experience with cloud-based applications, complemented by a background in Agile methodologies. • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound technical decisions.   DESIRABLE • hands-on experience utilizing .NET technologies, with a focus on C# and Microsoft .Net. • Solid understanding of REST APIs, state management (NGRX), and browser performance tuning • Knowledge of cloud services, infrastructure, pipelines, and architecture — preferably on Azure • DB experience – preferably SQL • Experience in FinTech industry  BENEFITS  • Flexible working hours and hybrid model - 2 days in the office, 3 days remote  • Modern office (next to Wilanowska metro station) with quiet zones and ergonomic workstations  • Base salary with annual bonus structure   • Holiday allowance upon a 2-week vacation  • Occasional remote work across Poland and international options available (up to 24 days domestic, 20 days international per year - subject to internal policy)  • Employer-paid Medicover Platinum healthcare package (employee-paid family upgrade available)  • Multisport card with 75% employer contribution  • Unum group life insurance (employee-paid upgrade available)  • Medicover travel insurance for private trips and global business travel insurance  • Possibility to join Deutsche Börse Group Share Plan (eligible after 1 year)  • Copyrights program for certain roles   • Possibility to develop your career in an international environment  • Professional training and courses provided by SimCorp  • Polish language classes for foreign employees; German and English classes based on business needs  • Integration events, volunteering initiatives and employee-led clubs    Compensation ranges are being disclosed at the initial stage of candidate engagement.  NEXT STEPS  Please send us your application in English via our career site as soon as possible, we process incoming applications continually.
