We're looking for a Mid Frontend Engineer for a software company whose platform lets professionals design real-world physical systems in an interactive, browser-based 3D environment. You'd join the team that owns the core of the product: the design surface where users model actual sites in a 3D canvas, backed by CAD tooling and a data model that keeps designs accurate to the physical world. Working stack: TypeScript, JavaScript, React, GraphQL, three.js, PostgreSQL, Ruby on Rails, and Python.
You'll join a collaborative engineering team building intuitive, high-performance user experiences for a technically complex product, while working closely with Product, Design, and Backend Engineering teams.
Requirements
• Minimum 3 years of commercial software engineering experience
• Strong experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and React
• Experience building modern component-based frontend applications
• Experience integrating frontend applications with backend APIs
• Understanding of software engineering best practices, including testing, maintainable code, and code reviews
• Ability to own features from technical design through implementation and production
• Familiarity with backend systems and willingness to contribute beyond the frontend when needed
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Professional proficiency in English (B2+/C1)
Nice to Have
• Experience with Ruby on Rails or Python
• GraphQL in production
• three.js or another 3D graphics library
• Experience with Playwright or similar automated testing frameworks
• Experience working in hybrid or distributed engineering teams
• Exposure to CAD or graphics-intensive applications
Responsibilities
• Build modern, scalable frontend applications using React, TypeScript, and JavaScript
• Deliver intuitive user experiences for a complex web platform
• Own features end-to-end, from technical design through implementation, testing, deployment, and production support
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers to deliver impactful product features
• Integrate frontend applications with backend services and APIs
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architecture improvements
• Help improve frontend engineering practices, tooling, and application reliability
• Contribute to backend development when needed as part of a collaborative full-stack engineering environment
