Senior Fullstack Node.js + React.js Compensation: $6,000 – $8,000 USD/monthOverlap: Must overlap with PST timezone team until 5:00 PM PST (2.00 Polish Time) About the Role Help keep a multi-service Ads platform healthy, scalable, and high-performing across AWS and GCP. You’ll act as the senior engineer on the front lines of production reliability, incident response, and platform stability — with the opportunity to expand into deeper platform ownership, infrastructure design, and operational excellence. This role requires strong hands-on debugging skills, cloud infrastructure knowledge, and the ability to confidently own production incidents in a US (PST) timezone environment. What You’ll Do (Core Responsibilities) • Triage and resolve production issues across the full stack (Next.js frontend, Node.js/NestJS backend, PostgreSQL, networking). • Debug end-to-end systems using logs, traces, and metrics. • Partner with product and engineering teams to identify root causes and prevent regressions. • Improve observability (dashboards, alerts, tracing) and incident response processes. • Create and maintain clear runbooks and operational documentation. • Ensure platform reliability, availability, and performance across environments. • Own production incidents during PST overlap hours. Growth Areas / Expansion Opportunities We’re looking for someone who can contribute immediately and grow into deeper platform responsibilities: • Kubernetes & Argo CD: deployments, rollbacks, scaling, ingress/networking, secrets, config management. • CI/CD & Infrastructure as Code: collaborate on pipelines and infrastructure using Terraform (AWS provisioned via Jenkins). • Data operations fundamentals: support database jobs, backups, migrations, and performance troubleshooting. • Platform automation and reliability improvements. Requirements • 7+ years of experience in Software Development, Application Support, SRE, DevOps, or Platform Engineering roles within microservices environments. • Strong debugging skills across modern web applications and APIs (Node.js/NestJS, Next.js). • Practical cloud knowledge (IAM, networking, containers, compute, storage). • Experience with observability tools (logs, metrics, traces) and incident management. • Experience supporting production systems at scale. • Clear and calm communication under pressure. • Comfortable working with and overlapping US (PST) timezone until 2:00 AM CET. Nice to Have • AWS (EKS/ECR, S3, CloudWatch) and/or GCP (GKE, GCS, Pub/Sub).GitOps workflows, blue/green or canary deployments, feature flags. • Kafka/Redpanda experience. • Security scanning, secrets management, policy-as-code. • Experience in high-traffic Ads or real-time platforms.
