Role overview Our client is looking for an engineer to design and build product features related to compensation and rewards. You will own the full lifecycle: requirements, design, implementation, and post-release improvements. This role offers high autonomy and influence over product quality, architecture, and engineering standards.Responsibilities • Build end-to-end (full-stack) product features • Develop scalable solutions for enterprise clients • Implement AI-powered tools for compensation decisions • Contribute to system architecture and best practices • Collaborate closely with Product and Design teams • Ensure high standards for code quality, testing, and reliability • Solve complex technical and product challenges Requirements • 5+ years building customer-facing web applications (full-stack) • Strong product mindset with the ability to translate user needs into technical solutions • Experience with TypeScript, Node.js, and React • Comfortable navigating ambiguous problems • High standards for code quality and system reliability • Strong collaboration and technical leadership skills Nice to have • Experience in HR Tech, compensation, or workforce management • Building enterprise-grade B2B software (permissions, audit logs, data controls) • Familiarity with MySQL and Redis • Using AI tools to improve productivity • Interest in mentoring and supporting team growth Offer • B2B contract • Hybrid work model (2 days/week in the office) • High level of ownership and impact on product and technology • Fast-paced, startup-like environment • Work with an experienced engineering team • Competitive salary and benefits (e.g., private healthcare, learning budget)
