Senior Shopify+React Engineer

Responsibilities and Duties • Design and document full technical architecture for Shopify stores (mainly Shopify Plus), including frontend, backend, integrations, and security • Use modern e-commerce approaches like headless and composable commerce • Decide when to build, buy, or extend solutions in Shopify • Develop and maintain custom Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript (including React) • Build or integrate custom Shopify apps and advanced features • Work with Shopify Functions, webhooks, and checkout customization • Improve checkout, cart, and product flows to increase sales and track data • Manage integrations with systems like ERP, PIM, and payment providers • Work closely with product managers, designers, and stakeholders Requirements • At least 5 years of experience in e-commerce architecture or technical roles, including 3+ years with Shopify • Strong knowledge of Shopify, especially Shopify Plus, Liquid, and the app ecosystem • Experience with headless Shopify (Hydrogen/Oxygen) • Experience building custom apps and using Shopify Functions and checkout extensions • Good knowledge of Shopify APIs (REST, GraphQL) and web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, React/Next.js) • Experience with integrations (ERP, OMS, PIM systems) • Good communication skills • Ability to think critically and creatively • Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills Nice-to-haves • Shopify certification or similar • Experience moving from old systems to new platforms • Knowledge of backend languages like Node.js or Ruby Why Join Us?
