What makes us different: • Focused exclusively on Shopify — deep expertise, not a generalist shop • Flexible working hours (core hours 10:00–14:00 CET, rest is yours to manage) • Learning & development budget covered for courses and educational materials • A team that genuinely enjoys its work — and the clients it works with ROLE OVERVIEW What You'll Be Doing As a mid-level Shopify Developer at Hyper Effekt, you'll take ownership of complex Shopify projects from architecture through delivery. You'll work on challenging store builds, custom app development, and backend integrations — with Python powering data pipelines, automation scripts, and system integrations alongside the Shopify ecosystem. • Develop and customize Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript • Build and maintain custom Shopify applications (private and public) • Design and implement integrations with Shopify Admin API and Storefront API • Write Python scripts and services for data integrations, ETL pipelines, and automation • Integrate e-commerce stores with ERP, PIM, CRM, and logistics systems • Support Shopify platform migrations — including data migration, SEO preservation, and redirects • Implement B2B functionality, multi-language/multi-currency setups, and Shopify Plus features • Ensure storefront performance, SEO readiness, and accessibility • Collaborate with designers, strategists, and project managers in an agile workflow REQUIREMENTS What We're Looking For Must-have: • 2+ years of hands-on Shopify development experience • Strong knowledge of Liquid and Shopify theme architecture • Solid JavaScript / TypeScript skills • Practical Python experience for scripting, automation, or data integrations • Experience with Shopify APIs (REST and/or GraphQL) • Understanding of e-commerce flows: catalog, cart, checkout, payments, promotions • Ability to work independently, estimate tasks, and own deliverables • Good communication skills in English (written and spoken, B2+) Nice to have: • Experience with Shopify Plus (scripts, functions, checkout extensions) • Background in headless Shopify (Hydrogen, Remix, or Next.js) • Experience with multi-store or multi-language setups • Familiarity with ERP/OMS integrations (e.g. Baselinker, Comarch, Subiekt) • Knowledge of GA4, GTM, Meta Pixel / CAPI, and analytics stack • Experience with platform migrations from Magento, WooCommerce, PrestaShop, etc. TECH STACK Tools & Technologies • Shopify (themes, apps, Shopify Plus) • Liquid, JavaScript / TypeScript • Python (scripting, automation, ETL) • Shopify Admin API, Storefront API, GraphQL, REST • HTML5, CSS3 / TailwindCSS • Git • ERP / OMS integration experience (Baselinker, Comarch, etc.) BENEFITS What We Offer • Fully remote work — from anywhere, as long as you have a stable connection • Flexible working hours with core overlap 10:00–14:00 CET • Learning & development budget for courses, conferences, and educational materials • English language learning covered as part of the company package • 20 days of annual paid leave • Work on ambitious, real-world DTC brands across Poland and international markets • Regular internal and external training sessions • Collaborative, no-nonsense team culture — no unnecessary processes • Integration meetups with the broader Hyper Effekt team
