About Our Client Our client is dedicated to building innovative e-mobility solutions tailored for the bodaboda (motorbike taxi) community. About This Role We are seeking an AI-first Senior Full-Stack (Python) Engineer to join our team. This is not a traditional development role. We are looking for someone who actively relies on AI tools to generate a significant portion of production code, using them as a core part of their development workflow. You will operate at the intersection of engineering and architecture, guiding AI-driven implementation while ensuring scalability, quality, and speed. The role involves enhancing and scaling an existing prototype built with Django and React Native, while working closely with the CTO and stakeholders. It is ideal for a highly independent, fast-moving engineer who thrives in startup environments, embraces ambiguity, and takes ownership of outcomes rather than tasks. In this role, requirements will not always be clearly defined or handed over. You are expected to derive requirements from product goals, business context, and stakeholder input, and proactively drive solutions in a fast-paced environment. Wymagania: - AI-First Mindset: Proven experience using AI tools as a core part of development, with the ability to delegate implementation to AI while maintaining architectural ownership - Technical Expertise: Strong proficiency in Python and Django (or similar frameworks), with working knowledge of React Native and React - System Design & Architecture: Ability to design scalable, maintainable systems and make high-level technical decisions - Product Thinking: Ability to derive requirements independently from high-level goals, without relying on detailed specifications or task breakdowns - Database Knowledge: Experience with PostgreSQL and understanding of data modeling and performance optimization - Infrastructure Experience: Familiarity with modern cloud environments, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization - Startup Mentality: Comfortable working in ambiguous environments, taking initiative, and moving quickly - Ownership & Accountability: Strong sense of responsibility for outcomes, balancing speed with quality - Data Understanding: Experience with telemetry data and data-driven decision-making is a plus - Communication Skills: Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, great communication skills with strong level of English (B2+) - Ability to provide 4-5 hours of overlap with our US-based team members (there's great flexibility in terms of working hours, however a time-frame 15:00 - 19:00 CET is often crucial for meetings with the team). Codzienne zadania: - Enhance and scale the existing prototype application built with Django and React Native, using AI-assisted development as a primary delivery mechanism - Leverage AI tools to rapidly generate, iterate, and refine code, significantly accelerating development cycles - Act as a technical orchestrator, defining architecture and guiding AI-generated implementation - Translate product goals and business needs into technical requirements and solutions, without relying on predefined tasks - Collaborate closely with the CTO and stakeholders to shape direction and make product decisions - Ensure high-quality, maintainable, and scalable solutions through validation and oversight of AI-generated code - Understand infrastructure and data workflows to contribute effectively to system design and scalability - Analyze and interpret telemetry data to inform product improvements and scaling decisions - Manage and optimize PostgreSQL databases in alignment with application needs - Oversee cloud infrastructure (currently DigitalOcean, with potential transition to AWS)
