Wymagania: About Tappr In a few years, every physical product sold in the EU will carry a digital identity - a scannable record of where it came from, what it's made of, and what happens to it next. That's not a prediction. It's regulation. Tappr is the platform brands use to build and manage those Digital Product Passports. When a consumer scans a QR code on a jacket or a pair of shoes, they land in an experience we power: sustainability data, care guides, warranty support, resale options - all branded, all compliant, all live. We connect brands' existing product data to that experience, and we make it work at scale. We're a small team based in Rotterdam and Warsaw. We move fast, we're backed, and the market is coming to us. The role You'll build the backend that brands rely on, the APIs that drive our Passport Builder, and the frontend features that consumers and brand managers interact with every day. You'll have real input into how we architect and scale the platform - and on top of that, you'll own the pipelines that connect new clients' product data into Tappr when we onboard them. What you'll do - Build and evolve our Python/Django backend - new API endpoints, data models, async jobs, performance improvements - Ship frontend features in TypeScript and React across the Passport Builder and brand-facing tools - Own reliability and observability on GCP - you'll be the one who notices when something's off before a client does - Shape architecture decisions as we scale to more brands, more products, more markets - Design and ship the integrations that connect client ERP, PLM, and PIM data into the platform when we onboard new brands What we're looking for - 5+ years of engineering experience with strong product instincts - Strong Python - Django is our core, and most of the logic lives here - Solid TypeScript, React and Tailwind - you'll be shipping frontend regularly, not occasionally - Real experience with REST APIs, webhooks, and the messiness of real-world data (JSON, XML, CSV) - GCP experience, or a strong AWS/Azure background you can transfer - Comfortable using AI coding tools (Claude, Copilot or similar) - we expect everyone on the team to use them as part of their normal workflow - Based in Europe, self-directed, and comfortable in a small async team where nobody will hand you a ticket queue Nice to have: - Hands-on experience with ERP or PIM systems (SAP, Akeneo, inRiver, or similar) - Familiarity with GS1 standards or supply chain data formats What we offer - Fully remote - work from anywhere in Europe - Ownership that means something: real input into architecture, not just tickets to close - No bureaucracy - small team, direct communication, decisions made fast - Work at the intersection of sustainability regulation and product engineering - a space that's genuinely growing How we hire One call with the team - technical and human - followed by a short take-home task (~2 hours). That's it. We move fast.
