Lead Backend Engineer (Cloud)

🤖 We are Spyrosoft’s Robotics team – a group of specialists supporting global tech companies in designing, building, and scaling robotic platforms for mobile robots, drones, and industrial platforms. Our focus spans cloud-native architectures, real-time data processing from robots, and integration with enterprise systems. 🕵️‍♂️ We’re looking for a technical leader who combines hands-on development with architecture responsibilities. Robotics experience isn’t required - what matters most is your motivation to grow in this field We’re looking for engineers with: • Strong knowledge of AWS or GCP (at least one platform) • Strong backend development experience in Python (using FastAPI, Django, or Flask) • Strong knowledge of distributed systems design, cloud-native integrations, and APIs. Experience with IoT protocols (e.g., MQTT) is a plus. • Very good English (B2/C1) We'd be happy to see your experience in: • in working with clients and leading IoT or robotics projects (as tech lead, architect, or senior engineer) • hands-on experience with telemetry, sensor data, and edge • Driving presales, proposal preparation, and client communication Your responsibilities will include: • Work hands-on on cloud-native backend systems as part of cutting-edge robotics projects. • Lead and support technical workshops and discovery sessions with clients to define project scope and estimations, including ballpark calculations. • Design, validate, and implement end-to-end backend architecture in Python for cloud-based robotics platforms. • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the development team, helping shape code quality, architecture decisions, and best practices. • Contribute to defining technology directions for cloud services and backend solutions in robotics and IoT projects (domain knowledge nice-to-have).
