O projekcie:
About Us:

Our vision is to become the world’s most fascinating fintech company by driving our society’s transition to a world without cash. Barion offers a data-driven online payment solution for more than 20k merchants in Central Europe. Our mission is to give buyers and sellers the most relevant information and experiences to help them make the wisest decisions. We're poised to build a cashless society through the smartest and most affordable payment solution in existence.

Why this role matters:

As a Lead .NET Engineer, you’ll play a key role in shaping the future of our core customer systems — from registration and onboarding to authentication and KYC. You’ll be both a hands-on senior developer and a technical leader, guiding modernization, mentoring teammates, and ensuring we deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure solutions.

What we offer:

- Competitive salary: Attractive compensation packages for employees
- Private health care: Comprehensive health coverage for your well-being
- A warm and welcoming team that values humor, creativity, and the occasional meme.
- Low-process, high-authority teams, so you can focus on actual work instead of meetings.
- A scale-up culture, where you can still have a visible impact on the product.
- 3 days of home office per week to deep dive into development tasks.
- Modern office location: We are designing our brand new office at the end of Corvin sétány. We plan to move in in June. Until that we are located in the Budapest Science Park.

Wymagania:
- Expertise in .NET stack and the web: You're the kind of developer who can plan and create web projects in modern .NET. Expertise in ASP.NET, C#, and MS SQL. Confident in caching, data distribution, and performance optimization
- Distributed thinker: You have experience with working on distributed systems, and you are able to create microservices from scratch.
- Monolith-tolerant: You are not afraid of legacy code and have efficient ideas on how to redesign it into a modern architecture.
- Loves automation: whether it is CI/CD or AI, you strive to automate your workflow wherever possible.
- Thorough architect: You know how to plan and design complex features from top to bottom.
- Client-side is a plus! If you know your way around the browser and are not afraid of JavaScript, we will appreciate it.
- Self-driven attitude: You love to see features through from planning to completion and are always keen to learn more.
- Critical thinker: You are not afraid to challenge the status quo, and you are able to voice your ideas.
- Fluent English: The ability to express yourself in writing and in speech fluently.
- Team-first: You know how to build a team and lead them to successful features. You care about the team spirit and actively seek opportunities to enhance it.
- Web evangelist: You love the web, love to learn about new technologies, and share these with your colleagues.

Codzienne zadania:
- You will split your time between building features, leading the team, and aligning with other team leaders.
- As a leader, you will need to dig up solutions to complex problems, provide guidance to the team, and determine the appropriate architecture.
- You will, with your teammates, create technical plans for business, compliance, and maintenance features.
- You’ll work in a SCRUM team (4-6 developers + PO) and participate in the entire software development lifecycle from planning to maintenance.
- You’ll ensure the team delivers high-quality, easy-to-learn, resilient, and observable software.
- You’ll provide mentoring for less experienced colleagues to raise the team’s technical level.

Może oznaczać brak formalnych procesów, co może prowadzić do chaosu lub niejasności w zadaniach, mimo deklarowanej autonomii.
🔴
A scale-up culture, where you can still have a visible impact on the product.
Może sugerować, że firma jest w fazie rozwoju, co wiąże się z niepewnością i potencjalnie mniejszą stabilnością niż w dojrzałych organizacjach.
🟡
3 days of home office per week to deep dive into development tasks.
Choć brzmi to elastycznie, może sugerować, że pozostałe 2 dni pracy w biurze są obowiązkowe i mogą być wykorzystywane na spotkania lub inne zadania niekoniecznie związane z głębokim kodowaniem.
🟡
We are designing our brand new office at the end of Corvin sétány. We plan to move in in June.

A warm and welcoming team that values humor, creativity, and the occasional meme.
Choć pozytywne, może być próbą złagodzenia potencjalnie wymagającego środowiska pracy lub braku innych, bardziej konkretnych benefitów.
