Location: Gdynia or remote

What You'll Do:
•

Contribute to High-Traffic Systems: Deliver features for high-throughput platforms processing millions of daily HTTP requests and messages.
• Work with Modern Technologies: Hands-on development within a stack featuring Kafka, MongoDB, ClickHouse and Redis.
• Feature Ownership: Take ownership of new features from implementation to deployment with support from senior staff.
• Enhance Existing Systems: Implement new features, assist in platform scaling, optimize query performance and maintain system stability.
• Refactor & Improve: Actively contribute to code quality, write clean code and refactor existing modules for better maintainability.
• Collaborate & Share Knowledge: Participate in code reviews, pair programming and cross-functional team collaboration.

What We're Looking For:

Must-Have Skills:
• Proficient in TypeScript and ES6+
• Strong working knowledge of Node.js and frameworks like Fastify (or Express/NestJS)
• Solid experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (query optimization, index management, basic schema design)
• Practical understanding of web scaling concepts: caching (Redis), load balancing, and async processing
• Good code review practices and collaborative mindset
• Good command of English (B2 and above)
•

Minimum 1 year of professional backend development experience

Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Knowledge of Microservices and Messaging Systems like AMQP, Kafka
• Experience with OLAP (e.g. Druid, ClickHouse, Snowflake)
• Familiarity with Angular, NestJS, or Express.js
• React Native Experience
• Go or Rust
• DevOps Tools: Docker, Kubernetes, Helm
• Startup Experience
