PHP Web Developer

Andersen is hiring a Web Developer in Nikosia for on-site work on a project developing and maintaining PHP-based applications, ensuring stable performance and efficient system operation  Our customer is a telecommunications provider operating in the European market, offering mobile and fixed connectivity, broadband internet, and digital services for both individual and business clients. The company focuses on infrastructure development, modern network technologies, and improving customer experience through digital channels, while leveraging international expertise to enhance service quality and efficiency.  The project is focused on developing and maintaining PHP-based business applications. It includes end-to-end implementation of backend logic, basic UI components, and ongoing support to ensure stable and efficient system operation.  Responsibilities:  • Gathering and analyzing business requirements.  • Creating, customizing and integrating software applications.  • Troubleshooting and supporting software systems.  • Setting up, monitoring and administrating software systems.  • Enhancing existing CRM systems performance and KPIs.  Must-haves:   • Bachelor degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software engineering, or relevant field of education.  • Hands-on programming experience for 2+ years.  • Strong knowledge of PHP.  • Frontend development skills, including HTML and CSS.  • Experience manipulating data from MySQL & Microsoft SQL databases.  • Experience in Agile methodology (Scrum / Kanban).  • Experienced in Jira.  • Knowledge of Git (GitLab & Gitlab CI/CD).  • Level of English – from Intermediate and above.   Nice-to-haves:   • Basic knowledge of JavaScript.  • Experience in Continuous Delivery.  • Experience with containers (Docker).  • Knowledge in Visual basic.  • Kubernetes knowledge.  Reasons why this job would be interesting to you:  • Experience in teamwork with leaders in FinTech, Healthcare, Retail, Telecom, and others.
