About the role: As we continue to expand the Open Rewards platform, we are seeking an exceptionally organized and technically-minded Engineering Manager to lead the deployment of our core consumer-facing application. This role is crucial for ensuring effective project execution, maintaining organizational excellence, and fostering a high-performing remote engineering team. This is a role that blends deep technical expertise with real world impact. Your work will not only create a superb product that integrates into consumers’ daily lives, but have a profound impact in their local commerce and how local businesses thrive. Wymagania: - 5+ years’ experience in software development, with significant experience in consumer mobile - Strong technical background and deep understanding of consumer-facing software applications and user experience (UX polish, quick rendering, responsiveness, and reliability) - Strong experience deploying to production systems with high standard of excellence - Fundamental knowledge of AI concepts, with a willingness to learn and adopt advanced AI tooling - A proven ability to be organized, methodical, and deliver projects with exceptional follow-through - Experience leading and managing remote engineering teams - Self-starter: take initiatives and manage entire projects from inception, implementation, measuring results and iteration - Ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment; enthusiastic and resilient when the process is fluid and creative solutions are the norm. Codzienne zadania: - Own the end-to-end execution and timely delivery of the mobile app and associated features. - Establish and maintain rigorous deployment and project management standards, focusing on planning, estimation, and throughput improvement. - Execute AI initiatives to redesign our development workflow and build robust internal tooling - Collaborate with leadership on new feature development and own hands-on execution of initial proof of concepts and analysis
