Senior Fullstack Developer

Job Overview
We’re looking for a Senior Fullstack Developer to join our Product Department – the ~20-person crew behind SolDevelo’s apps for the Atlassian Marketplace and monday.com Marketplace. Think Worklogs, QAlity, and Checklists: tools relied on by everyone from small teams to huge, well-known corporations to run their Jira workflows. We build what our users actually ask for – closely listening to their feedback and shipping the features that matter to them, so what you build gets used, fast.
You’ll join one of our two Scrum teams - comprising 3-4 developers, a tester, a product owner, and a UI/UX specialist - each owning a distinct set of products. This is a role for someone who wants to be the senior engineer our mid-level developers learn from: you’ll set the technical direction on the backend, maintain high code quality, and inspire those around you to raise their own bar. On the frontend, you’ll collaborate confidently; you don’t need to be a frontend authority, just capable of delivering features end-to-end.

In our Product Department, we keep things lean: small teams, direct customer feedback, and short paths from idea to production.

Responsibilities
• Design and build features end-to-end – owning the backend architecture and contributing to the frontend alongside your team.
• Own backend code quality: set the standards, enforce them in reviews, and keep the codebase healthy over the long run.
• Be the mentor and technical leader for our mid-level developers – pair with them, coach them, and help them grow into seniors.
• Inspire the team by example: bring ideas, share what you learn, and set the tone for how we build.
• Contribute to architectural decisions with a focus on performance, security, and maintainability.
• Engage with design and product early, helping shape and influence business decisions before implementation even starts.
• Advocate for decisions that hold up at scale and stand the test of time, and speak up when they don’t.
• Help our service desk team dig into trickier customer-reported issues.

Must-have
• A minimum of five years of professional experience in software development.

Senior-level, hands-on expertise in backend development with Java and Spring Boot.

• A proven track record designing and implementing backend architecture for web applications.
• Solid, mid-level working knowledge of React and TypeScript – enough to deliver production frontend features on your own.
• Commercial experience with unit testing on both backend and frontend.
• Proven ability to write performant, maintainable, and testable code.
• Demonstrated experience mentoring and leading mid-level developers – and genuine motivation to keep doing it.
• Solid tech debt management skills – identifying and prioritizing it; designing refactor plans.
• Strong knowledge of application security practices (e.g. OWASP Top 10) and the ability to define, implement, and monitor a security strategy in collaboration with DevOps and QA.
• Ability to estimate complex projects end-to-end, coordinate the estimation process for the team, and account for uncertainty and risk in requirements.
• Comfortable working async with a distributed team.
• Excellent command of Polish (C1 or higher).
• Excellent command of English (C1 or higher).

Nice-to-have
• Familiarity with the Atlassian ecosystem or background in building on Atlassian Forge, Connect, or another third-party app platform (Shopify, Salesforce, etc.).
• Experience running knowledge-sharing formats – internal talks, tech guilds, onboarding programs.
• Good UI taste with attention to detail – comfortable pushing back on proposed designs and offering alternatives.
• Exposure to AI and agentic workflows.
