Wymagania:
- Excellent university degree in Computer Science (or equivalent natural science degree, e.g., computational biologist/chemist/…).
- 5–8+ years of professional experience with expert-level skills in at least two modern programming languages (e.g., Python, Kotlin, Go, JavaScript/TypeScript).
- Experience with backend development and/or frontend frameworks such as React.js.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred), containerization, and serverless architecture.
- Hands-on expertise in data engineering and/or data science.
- Deep understanding of Agile, CI/CD, and automated testing.
- Comfortable making technical decisions in ambiguous problem spaces.
- Proven experience leading engineering initiatives and developing others.
- As a plus: experience working with natural scientists and in regulated environments (e.g., GxP)

Zakres obowiązków:
- Design, develop, and continuously deploy complex technical solutions (full stack) in a fast-moving, regulated Pharma R&D environment.
- Drive architectural decisions for scalable systems and contribute hands-on development while working in cross-functional teams with IT and R&D experts (biology, chemistry, pharmacology).
- Define and execute a technical vision for our R&D application landscape with a focus on business value.
- Identify technical risks and gaps, show solution approaches, and guide the team towards robust solutions.
- Mentor engineers and support technical growth across teams.
- Introduce new technologies, improve engineering workflows, and challenge existing patterns.
- Use AI-assisted development tools to improve code quality and delivery speed.
- Combine technical expertise with scientific understanding (e.g., computational biology or computational chemistry).
