About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join a short-term project for a global company in the FMCG / consumer goods industry.
The project focuses on developing an internal platform for automated configuration comparison, discrepancy detection and reporting across multiple operational systems.
The solution will integrate with different data sources, retrieve and process configuration data, identify inconsistencies between systems and present the results through a web-based interface. It will also support the generation of synchronization files to help align configurations across connected applications.
The initial scope is focused on operational and warehouse automation systems, with potential for further expansion to additional applications and environments.
Project: Short-term
Rate: 160–200 PLN/h/B2B
Work model: Remote / Hybrid
Responsibilities
• Design and develop applications for automated configuration comparison and reporting.
• Integrate with Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server databases.
• Retrieve and process configuration data using predefined queries.
• Develop discrepancy detection and validation logic.
• Build backend services and REST APIs supporting comparison workflows.
• Develop web-based interfaces for configuration reporting and issue visualization.
• Generate synchronization files to support configuration alignment between systems.
• Collaborate with technical stakeholders to understand business and operational requirements.
• Participate in architecture, development, testing and deployment activities.
Required Skills
• Strong software engineering background.
• Hands-on experience with Python, Go, Java, C# or similar backend technologies.
• Experience building business-critical applications or internal engineering tools.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Experience working with Oracle and/or Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience designing and developing REST APIs.
• Understanding of data processing, validation and system integrations.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical solutions.
Nice to Have
• Experience with React or other modern frontend frameworks.
• Experience building data reconciliation, synchronization or reporting solutions.
• Knowledge of manufacturing, warehouse automation or AGV environments.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Azure, AWS or other cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern software delivery practices.
Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a pragmatic Software Engineer who enjoys solving complex integration and data-processing challenges. The ideal candidate has experience building applications that connect multiple systems, compare data sets, detect inconsistencies and automate operational processes.
This is not a typical CRUD development role and will suit someone with experience in integration platforms, internal engineering tools, operational software or data-intensive applications.
