Software Engineering Manager
Location: Warsaw / hybrid
Type: Employment (UoP)
Estimated base salary: 26 000 – 32 000 PLN gross / month
Employer: a large scale financial sector company
 

Tasks:
• Manage software development & engineering team responsible for development and support of IT solutions in the Business domain
• Cooperate with Business and Product Owners to define technology roadmap and priorities
• Manage architecture and security of IT solutions portfolio (spanning software and underlying infrastructure)
• Develop technical and professional capabilities od the team
• Manage development and support budgets 
• Estimate cost and required resources
• Select and implement new technologies, tools, standards and best practices
• Vendor cooperation and management (solution providers, software houses, outsourcing companies, etc.)
 

Requirements:
• 3+ years of experience in managerial role focused on software development of business applications
• Previous experience in software development & design
• Experience in software architecture design and knowledge of modern SDLC standards
• Knowledge of Microservices architecture (preferably with Java/React stack)
• Knowledge of Cloud and DevOps (preferably Azure)
• Understanding the underlying infrastructure of business applications
• Knowledge of application and infrastructure security
• Experience in managing technology budgets
• Higher education degree in IT-related filed is desirable
• Fluent in English (C1)
• Experience at international companies
• Nice to have: experience in regulated sector, previous experience in Software / Solution Architect role or function
