Android Developer On behalf of our client, we are seeking an experienced Android Developer to join an exciting project within the automotive industry. This is a great opportunity to work on innovative solutions, contribute to next-generation mobility platforms. 📍 Remote from Poland SW Developer – Android App & JAVA Framework Responsibilities: Setup development team for each of the following areas: • Launcher and System UI • Media & Radio • Smartphone Integration • Phone • Vehicle Services & Settings • Driver Information (non-safety) Requirements: • 3–8 years of hands‑on experience in Android app development using Java/Kotlin. • Solid understanding of Android Automotive OS (AAOS) architecture, templates, and system apps. • Experience with AOSP/AAOS framework, system services, and OEM customizations. • Proficiency in Android components: Activities, Fragments, Services, Broadcasts, Content Providers. • Strong debugging skills using ADB, Logcat, Perfetto, Systrace, dumpsys. • Experience with inter-process communication: AIDL, Binder, Messenger. • Knowledge of VHAL, vehicle properties, and vehicle-related APIs. • Domain experience in at least one area: Launcher/System UI, Media/Radio, Phone, Smartphone Integration, Vehicle Settings, or Driver Information. • Proficiency in Java/Kotlin OOP, multithreading, Jetpack components, and modular design. • Experience integrating with REST APIs, JSON, Bluetooth, MediaSession, Telephony APIs, or audio routing. • Familiarity with Git/Gerrit, CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitLab CI), and Agile ways of working. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging abilities. • Effective communication, collaboration, and ability to work in cross-functional teams. • Experience working on embedded systems or infotainment platforms (automotive preferred). • Knowledge of automotive standards such as ASPICE, ISO 26262 (non-safety), or CAN/LIN communication (nice to have). ✅ Benefits: • Work with modern technologies and international teams • Long-term and stable cooperation • Professional growth opportunities   📩 If you’re interested and meet the qualifications, please send your CV to Alina Pchelnikova at alina.pchelnikova@dcvtechnologies.co.uk
