Freelance BLE Expert (iOS, Android or Flutter)

We’re looking for an experienced Bluetooth Low Energy Expert to join our team as a freelancer immediately. If you have a strong commercial background in BLE, IoT, and mobile development (iOS, Android or Flutter), and you can independently implement BLE solutions in real projects, we want to hear from you. As a specialized software house, we work on innovative IoT solutions for top-tier clients like Oura, BOSE, and McIntosh. This is an opportunity to work on a high-impact project where your deep BLE knowledge will be critical. Who we’re looking for: • Proven commercial experience with BLE – deep understanding of communication protocols, peripheral connections, and troubleshooting. • Strong mobile development skills – expertise in either iOS (Swift, Core Bluetooth), Android (Kotlin, BLE APIs) or Flutter (Dart, BLE packages). • Experience in IoT – working with connected devices, sensors, and embedded systems. • Solid knowledge of Unit Testing and best practices in mobile development (XCTest, Quick/Nimble for iOS; JUnit, Mockito for Android or Flutter test frameworks). • Familiarity with concurrency and performance optimization for BLE applications. • Fluent English (B2+) – written and spoken. Nice to have: • Experience with Bluetooth 5+ and advanced BLE features (Long Range, Mesh). • Previous work in IoT security and encrypted BLE communication. • Understanding of functional reactive programming (RxSwift, Jetpack Compose, or Flutter’s reactive state management approaches like Riverpod/Bloc). • Knowledge of Google Play/Android Auto, Apple MFi programs, or Flutter’s app distribution and integration processes.
