AI Engineer (f/m/d) – Knowledge Graphs & Large Language Models

Your future team and working environment As part of our interdisciplinary AI & Data team, you'll work closely with data scientists, software engineers and domain experts. Together, you’ll design and implement advanced, context-aware AI applications that connect Knowledge Graphs and Large Language Models (LLMs) into powerful business tools. What to expect: • Knowledge Graph Engineering – Design, implementation and maintenance of Knowledge Graphs (e.g. with Neo4j) • Graph Modeling – Mapping complex data relationships in graph databases, optimizing Cypher queries • ETL & Data Integration – Building and maintaining pipelines to integrate data from heterogeneous sources • LLM Integration & RAG Systems – Developing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines and integrating Knowledge Graphs as context providers for LLMs • Graph ↔ Text Transformation – Enabling intelligent two-way conversion between structured graph data and natural language • Software Engineering – Developing APIs, microservices and vector embedding modules for semantic search • Performance & Monitoring – Continuously optimizing and monitoring AI systems for quality and reliability What you bring: • Technical Expertise – Strong skills in Neo4j, Cypher, APOC and programming experience in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript or Java • AI/ML Knowledge – Hands-on experience with Large Language Models (GPT, Claude, Llama etc.) and frameworks like LangChain, LlamaIndex, Hugging Face • Graph Technology – Familiarity with RDF, SPARQL, OWL and ideally Graph Neural Networks • Vector Databases – Experience with Pinecone, Weaviate or Chroma • NLP & Semantics – Understanding of Natural Language Processing, semantic search, and embedding models • Education & Experience – Degree (BSc/MSc) in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML or similar field and 3+ years of experience in AI/ML projects, including at least 1 year in Knowledge Graphs • Languages – Excellent English skills required; German language skills are a plus • Mindset – Structured, collaborative, communicative and proactive personality What we offer: • Innovation & Impact – Work on real AI applications with measurable business value • Modern Tech Stack – Access to powerful computing environments and the latest ML/AI frameworks • Freedom to Explore – Space for research, experimentation and publication of new Graph+LLM approaches • Team Culture – Agile workflows (Scrum/Kanban), flat hierarchies and collaboration on equal footing • Hybrid Work Model – Flexible working hours, remote options and a well-equipped office in Wrocław • Learning & Development – Individual trainings, certifications, conference participation in the AI/ML field About digatus We are a dynamic IT group specializing in digital transformation, software engineering and IT staffing.
